
The North Carolina State Capitol is hosting a new tour, New Year, Ancient Ideas, in 2026. On four Saturdays in January, 2026, join a special tour and learn about the ancient Greek and Roman ideas, symbols and history that shaped modern America and North Carolina.
Meet in the Capitol Rotunda 1 E Edenton Street, Raleigh, North Carolina, at noon on one of these days:
- January 10
- January 17
- January 24
- January 31
The tours are free and no reservations are necessary. Walk-ups are encouraged. The tour content is appropriate for most age groups, but recommended for ages 10 and up. Please check in at the front desk when you arrive.
Parking for the Capitol is available at metered spaces around the square (operated by the City of Raleigh) or in the NC Museum/Government Center state parking lot located at 100 E Jones Street.
