North Carolina is providing $335 payments to eligible families to help with costs associated with remote learning and childcare expenses during the pandemic.
The deadline to apply has been extended to Monday, December 7th, 2020, at 2 p.m.
There are two ways to apply:
- Go to 335fornc.com
- Call 800-215-5988
You may have already received your $335 check, if you submitted a 2019 tax return.
But if you didn’t make enough money to submit a return, you might be eligible for the “Extra Credit Grant” and would need to apply for your payment by December 7th at 2 p.m.
Determining Your Eligibility
Your household may be eligible for a $335 North Carolina Extra Credit Grant if you:
- did not file a 2019 state tax return solely because your 2019 income was less than $20,000 for a married couple, $15,000 for head of household, and $10,000 for a single person, and
- lived in North Carolina for all of 2019, and
- had at least one qualifying child who was age 16 or under in 2019.
