May 15th, 2021, is National Chocolate Chip Day!
Celebrate by stopping by a participating Nestlé® Toll House® Café by Chip® and buying 12 fresh-baked Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip cookies for just $5.
Toll House Cookies were invented in 1939 when Ruth Wakefield, who was running the successful Toll House restaurant in Whitman, Massachusetts, chopped up a bar of Nestle Semi-sweet Chocolate into tiny bits and added them to her cookie dough.
Instead of melting through the cookies as she expected, the chocolate bits retained their shape, and Toll House Cookies were born.
You can find a Nestlé® Toll House® Café by Chip® cafe at Streets at Southpoint, 6910 Fayetteville Road, Durham.
Double-Check Before You Head Out!
