National Beer Day is celebrated on April 7th every year, commemorating the Cullen-Harrison Act, which President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed into law March 22, 1933. This law permitted the sale of beer and wine containing up to 3.2% alcohol by weight.
Prior to the passage of this act, sale of even low alcohol beer had been illegal since Prohibition started in 1920.

10th & Terrace is a rooftop lounge at Residence Inn Raleigh Downtown, 616 South Street. On Monday, April 7, 2025, all draft beers at 10th & Terrace will be $5 in honor of National Beer Day.
