Walnut Creek Wetland Center, 950 Peterson Street, Raleigh, is hosting its sixth annual Mud Day on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This is a free event that is intended to demonstrate the importance of wetlands, as well as the importance of kids having fun outside.
Come dressed to get messy and wet! The highlight is a giant mud pit!
The event will include:
- Mud kitchen
- Live animals

- An obstacle course
- Local environmental organizations
- Crafts
- Water play
- Food trucks
