The Lake Wheeler Invitational is an annual intercollegiate women’s rowing event co-hosted by Duke University and the University of North Carolina. It takes place at Lake Wheeler Park, 6404 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh, North Carolina, on April 24 and 25, 2026.
Spectators are welcome! There’s no admission charge, but parking is $20. If you’d like to volunteer, parking is free all weekend. Concessions will be available.
Racing will take place on Friday, April 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a lunch break, and then will resume from 2:15 to 5 p.m. On Saturday, April 25, the racing will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
There is limited bleacher seating, so spectators are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
