Party in the Park: Juneteenth Celebration at RTP

Research Triangle Park is hosting the 3rd Annual Party in the Park: A Celebration of Juneteenth, on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 12 to 3 p.m. It will take place at The Hub RTP, 3150 Elion Drive, Durham, North Carolina.

This free event includes:

Curated jams from DJ Damu
Rotating lineup of performers on the main stage
Double Dutch sessions with 40+ Double Dutch Club
Family splashpad—don’t forget swimsuits, towels or dry clothes
Lawn games
Artist vendor market with handmade goods
Food trucks and sweet treats from local favorites
Giveaways and community resources

The first 50 guests will get a free icee.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket, and a swimsuit or splash-friendly clothing. The rain date is June 20, 2025.
