
Celebrate Juneteenth at the City of Raleigh Museum, 220 Fayetteville Street, Raleigh, North Carolina. Friends of City of Raleigh Museum are presenting a lecture “After Emancipation: North Carolina Education, Past, Present, and Future”, on June 13, 2025, at 7 p.m.
The discussion will delve into the history of North Carolina’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities and will discuss the evolution of education, its political connections following emancipation, and considerations for the future.
This engaging discussion will feature Dr. Lesa Redmond and North Carolina Representative Nasif Majeed.
