Operation ART at The Joel Fund offers low-cost art classes for military veterans and families.
To celebrate Veterans Day, The Joel Fund and Heart2Hand Veteran artist Lt. Colonel (retired), Bernardine Donato, are hosting the Third Annual North Carolina Veteran Art Show in partnership with Durham Art Guild.
The exhibit will be at the Durham Bottling Company, 105 Ramseur Street, Durham, North Carolina, from November 14 to 17, 2024. It’s free to visit.
This art show will contain original pieces created by North Carolina Veterans of the United States Armed Forces. This family-friendly event will showcase art from North Carolina veterans of all backgrounds, art levels, and branches of service.
The hours to view the artwork are as follows:
- Thursday, Nov 14, 1 to 7 p.m.
- Friday, Nov 15, 1 to 8 p.m. (During Third Friday Art Walk and Gallery Crawl)
- Saturday, Nov 16, 1 to 7 p.m.
- Sunday, Nov 17, 1 to 5 p.m.
