Levin JCC, 1937 West Cornwallis Rd, Durham, is hosting the Jewish Food Festival on Sunday, June 2nd, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event is free, but attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food donation for Jewish Family Services’ Food Pantry. All proceeds from the Jewish Food Festival go to the Food Pantry and the JCC’s initiatives to address food insecurity in the local community.
The festival includes food demos, kids’ activities, raffles and a wide variety of Jewish food for sale. Food is a great way to connect with a culture, and this festival includes food from several different Jewish traditions, so you can eat your way the rich history of the Jewish people.
Additional parking will be located all along the Western Bypass (specifically, at the old Herald Sun building and the storage facility). Shuttle service to the Festival will run every 15 minutes. Keep an eye out for the Shuttle Stop signs!
There will be extra parking spaces in the Levin JCC lot reserved for those with mobility disabilities and disabled placards.
