Two juniors at East Chapel Hill High School are presenting InnovateHER STEM Camp, a student-led initiative supervised by their dedicated female science teachers.
From June 17 to June 20, 2024, they’ll be hosting a FREE STEM camp tailored specifically for girls in grades 3-5 who attend school in Chapel Hill or Carrboro, North Carolina. Due to insurance reasons they are unable to host kids that are not part of the CHCCS school district.
The camp takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day.
The goal is to provide a fun and engaging environment where young girls can explore the wonders of STEM and foster a lifelong passion for these disciplines.
Throughout the camp, participants will enjoy a variety of hands-on activities and exciting demonstrations designed to ignite curiosity and inspire creativity.
With the guidance of experienced teachers and enthusiastic student mentors, attendees will have the opportunity to get into the fascinating work of STEM.
