NC Symphony violist Kurt Tseng, joined by Holy Trinity’s organist Brad Hunnicutt, will share an evening of music by Schumann, Brahms, and Hindemith.
Kurt Tseng joined the NC Symphony in 2020 as Associate Principal Viola and has also performed with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and the Des Moines Metro Opera Festival Orchestra. He has appeared at major festivals including Tanglewood, Schleswig-Holstein, and Pacific Music Festival, and was a fellow with the New World Symphony in Miami Beach. Tseng studied at Tufts University, the New England Conservatory, and Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music.
Kudzu Ramblers, part of St. Francis Festival

The Kudzu Ramblers, winners of the 2024 Bascom Lamar Lunsford Award at the State Fair Folk Festival, will bring their bluegrass sound to the annual Blessing of the Animals event.

Corey Leak, Tenor

Mr. Corey Leak, the music teacher at The Raleigh School, began singing in Harlem at age four. He has toured internationally with the Boys Choir of Harlem and later performed with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Pavarotti, along with appearances with major symphonies and opera productions. Mr. Leak holds degrees in vocal performance and music education and serves as youth choir conductor at Saint Paul’s A.M.E. Zion Church in Raleigh.
