Holiday Kiln Opening
Twice a year Mark makes and fires over 1000 lovely pots and invites everyone to his pottery for an Open Studio event called a Kiln Opening!
It’s a great way to see the pottery workshop, the massive wood kilns, the showroom/barn, and shop for beautiful pottery while you enjoy a day in the country.
The shelves are stocked with comfy mugs, lovely tumblers, plates and bowls, elegant vases, pitchers, lidded jars, and planters.
Several of Mark’s life-sized ‘Big Pots’ – tall vases, jars and sentinels that were fired in this kiln – are also on display.
Children are always welcome. They have swings!
