Final Weekend
Enjoy an outing to the pottery – walk inside the kilns and shop in the large barn/showroom full of lovely functional and decorative handmade pottery.
Since 1983, master potter Mark Hewitt has been making fine-crafted pottery – fabulous mugs, dinner plates, cereal and serving bowls, pitchers, vases, planters, and his famous Big Pots. Twice a year he opens his studio for two weekends, and invites the public to come tour the pottery and shop in the large barn/showroom.
This is the final weekend of the Summer Kiln Opening Sale, and there will be a Seconds Sale on Sunday, June 8! These are pots that have some small flaw, some imperfection and the prices are discounted. You can learn more about them here.
Enjoy a day in the country, in nearby Pittsboro and see the work of this renowned potter.
