HerbFest is an annual tradition in Wake Forest. Vendors will be selling organic, non-GMO and heritage herbs, as well as vegetables and local perennials.
Besides the herb-shopping, enjoy entertainment, art and other vendors.
HerbFest is the longest running herb festival in the United States, and is free to attend.
The event is a fundraiser for the Graham Johnson Cultural Arts Endowment.
HerbFest will take place at 310 South White Street, Wake Forest, next to the Cotton Company on two consecutive weekends, April 30th to May 2nd, and May 7th to 9th, 2021.
- Fridays and Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sundays: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On Saturday, May 1st, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., there will be live music and live painting by Little Red Birds, a duo that combines the talents of musician Dave Devlin and painter Amanda Wilson. The finished painting will be silently auctioned off throughout the event.
The event is held outdoors and safety precautions will be in place, including wearing masks and social distancing.
