Downtown Garner is kicking off its outdoor concert series, Groovin’ in Garner, on Friday, May 15, 2026, with Rockzilla.
Groovin’ in Garner takes place on the Garner Recreation Center lawn, 215 W Main Street, Garner, North Carolina, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. It’s free to attend.
Food trucks will be on site, or you can purchase dinner from one of the Downtown Garner restaurants. Beer and wine will be availalble for purchase within the festival area, starting at 5 p.m.

- September 18: Kyle Mullins and Robert Hunter
Adult Beverages
No outside alcohol or coolers will be permitted during the event, but beer, wine, cocktails will be available for purchase at Zin Yoga Studio and Wine Lounge and Shady’s Bar. Grab a drink-to-go and enjoy the social district. Alcohol vendors manage their own alcohol sales and are responsible for identification checks as required by law.
Parking
Free parking is available along several side streets and parking lots in downtown Garner, the Lions Club, and at Garner Baseball.
