Geer Street Garden, at 644 Foster Street, in Durham, has been serving up excellent, down-home food and drinks for 10 years. It’s our family’s favorite restaurant in Durham. It never fails us!
Its home is in the former Fletcher’s Gulf Station on the corner of Foster and Geer Streets. A lot has changed in Durham in 10 years, and we’re lucky that Geer Street Garden has made it and still sharing delicious food with us.
They’re celebrating their 10th anniversary with a party on Saturday, May 1st, 2021. They’re calling it the Geer Street Pig Out.
They’ll be serving up FREE barbecue, veggie and vegan sides starting at 11 a.m. until the food runs out. You pay for your drinks.
There will also be live music by John Howie and Nathan Golub.
In addition, there will be an art opening for the “Life in Quarantine” mural project.
Geer Street Garden hopes that you’ll stop by, grab some grub, and eat it while wandering the neighborhood.
