Build your own lasagna planter. One of the best ways to bring long-lasting color to late winter and early spring in your landscape or patio is by planting bulbs.
Join Downtown Cary Park horticulturist Patrick McMillan to build your own winter-color planter by learning the art of layering successive layers (hence the “lasagna”) of bulbs to provide color from January through April. You will take home your own planter as well as a new skill.
Build Your Own Lasagna Planter takes place at Downtown Cary Park: DCP Gathering Garden, 327 S Academy Street, Cary, North Carolina, on these dates:
- November 4, 2026, 2 to 3 p.m. Registration Link
- November 18, 2026, 2 to 3 p.m. Registration Link
These are FREE events. Registration is required. Registration opens two weeks before each class, at 10 a.m.
This class will take place outdoors, participants are encouraged to dress appropriately and bring water.
