If your family loves to travel, consider including a National Park in your itinerary. There are more than 400 parks, where you can enjoy the outdoors, discover history, explore nature and more.
Also, learn about how all 4th graders and their families can visit National Parks for free all year!
Many National Parks are always free, but some charge a fee. There are six dates in 2024 when all National Parks will offer free admission.
- January 15: Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
- April 20: First day of National Park Week
- June 19: Juneteenth National Independence Day
- August 4: Anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act
- September 28: National Public Lands Day
- November 11: Veterans Day
