Three New Year’s Eve Events for Kids in the Triangle
Marbles Kids Museum Noon Year’s Eve Party
Tuesday, December 31st, 2019
11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Marbles Kids Museum, 201 E Hargett Street, Raleigh
$7 (regular museum admission)
Ring in the “noon” year with line dances, wacky activities and bubble wrap fireworks. The marbles drops at noon. The museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
First Night Raleigh Daytime Celebration and People’s Procession

Free
Raleigh’s First Night Celebration has plenty of family-friendly activities, but the Daytime Activities are made just for kids. Take part in New Year’s crafts and activities, and enjoy performances. Then join in the People’s Procession to the intersection of Davie and Fayetteville Street, where you will enjoy a performance by the band Barefoot Manner and the Early Countdown, with Acorn Drop, at 7 p.m.
Kidzu New Year’s Eve Party

Kidzu Children’s Museum, 201 S Estes Drive, Chapel Hill
Regular admission: $8.50 for adults and kids over 12 months

Kidzu is hosting an early New Year’s Eve party from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kids can construct their own ball drop game and snowball launcher. They’ll also make snowball snacks, paint with balls and dance in the disco “Ball Room.” At noon there will be a New Year Countdown and Bubble Ball Drop.
