If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about Bonsai, you’ll get the chance at the free Triangle Bonsai Society Expo at Sarah P. Duke Gardens, 420 Anderson St, in Durham, on Saturday, July 6, and Sunday, July 7, 2024. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
Admission is free, but parking is $2 per hour.
The expo takes place at Doris Duke Center.
Enjoy an amazing array of these carefully pruned plants, created and exhibited by the Triangle Bonsai Society. This two-day exhibit will include more than 50 bonsai created in multiple styles, and you will have the opportunity to learn basic bonsai skills at daily demonstrations, ask questions and vote for your favorite.
Free drop-in exhibit for all ages. Adult chaperone required for children.
