First Friday Raleigh
The first Friday of every month, Downtown Raleigh showcases its art, music and food during its First Friday Gallery Walk. It’s a free self-guided tour and a chance to visit art galleries, studios, alternative art venues and more.
Here’s some information about December First Friday, which will take place on December 4th, 2020, from around 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Celebrate the last First Friday of 2020 with entertainment in the Warehouse District.
Look out for performers from Cirque De Vol as they roam West Martin St from 6 pm-8 pm for socially-distanced selfies.
Be sure to stop by Union Station Plaza at 510 W Martin St from 6 pm-8 pm to pick up a glow stick for the promotion of DTR’s Illuminate Art Walk, free while supplies last.
While visiting, stop by 311 Gallery and CAM Raleigh, go out for dinner, and shop local.
Downtown Raleigh Alliance worked with four local artists to create murals that would bring pops of color to downtown’s districts, include fun interactive and instagrammable elements, and promote DRA’s First Friday program.
Each mural has a plaque with a QR code for you to learn more about First Friday including participating businesses, programs, specials, and more.
