Firefly Farm, 4911 Hunt Road, Hillsborough, North Carolina, is a wonderful spot to pick your own flowers (during flower season), explore 26 acres of rolling hills, meet friendly animals, and more.
During the Great Backyard Bird Count, February 13 to 16, 2026, the farm will be open all day, from sunrise to sunset, for free! Come and go as you please and enjoy the farm while being a citizen scientist.
This time of year sunrise is just after 7 a.m. and sunset is just before 6 p.m.
Savor nature at this beautiful spot, and then come back to pick flowers this spring!
