PineCone is presenting a FREE Old-Time Fiddle & Banjo Workshop on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at House of Many Porches Market at Dix Park, 701 Palmer Drive, Raleigh, North Carolina.
Space is limited. Registration is required. Registration opens at May 30, 2026, at 12 p.m.
This workshop is designed for beginning and intermediate players.
Join an engaging workshop led by acclaimed musicians Erynn Marshall and Carl Jones. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to build on your skills, this welcoming, hands-on workshop is designed for beginner to intermediate players of all ages.
The workshop will be divided into two parts. In the first session, participants will split into instrument groups—fiddles and banjos—to learn a tune or two in a supportive, small-group setting. In the second session, everyone will come back together to play as a group, bringing the music to life in a fun and collaborative jam. Bring your instrument, a chair if you’d like, and get ready to learn, play, and connect!
