Free Food Distribution
Elizabeth Street UMC usually hosts free food distributions the first Monday of the month at 2 p.m. If it’s a holiday, the event will be moved to the following Monday. If it’s raining the event might also be rescheduled.
No appointments.
The next food distribution is February 9, 2026, rescheduled from February 2, due to the weather. Facebook event.
Upon arrival you must sign in at the tent to receive a number for your car. They have LIMITED SUPPLY. Due to high volume, they recommend coming as early as 12:30 p.m. to make sure you receive a number. Cars are called according to the number assigned, starting at 2 p.m. Remain in your car to drive through and receive food.
Volunteers are needed at 12:45 p.m. and are finished by 4 p.m.
Free Community Meals
Elizabeth Street UMC usually hosts a free community meal the last Tuesday of every month except for December. The meals take place at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome. No RSVP is required. Please follow Elizabeth UMC’s Facebook page, as they’ll often share more information about the meal.
The next free community meal is on February 24, 2026, and will be soup and salad.
