Meet the Bunny
March 24, 2026
10 to 11:30 a.m.
Abbots Creek Community Center
9950 Durant Road, Raleigh, NC

Ages 0-6
Hop out to Abbotts Creek and meet the Bunny. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in games and crafts. After making your way through the crafts and games, stop for a picture with the bunny and pick up a plush egg from the egg patch. Due to the limited number of crafts and prizes pre-registration is required for each participant.
Biltmore Hills Egg Hunt and Bunny Visit

Egg-straordinary Egg Hunt. You will even have the opportunity to take a picture with the Biltmore Bunny. The Egg Hunt will start at 11:00 a.m. This event is indoors and outdoors, and is free for all. Pre-registration is not required.
GLOWED Up Musical SHELL-ebration

Get Ready, Set…Glow, Hop, and Hunt. Let’s GLOW for an EGG-citing hunt with a GLOWED-up musical chair twist! Young EGG-plorers will venture into designated areas for a captivating search of luminous eggs and prizes. While the music sounds, youngsters can move around collecting eggs, but like musical chairs, each time the music stops, participants must freeze in place. Once the music strikes back into action, they can continue in search of goodies.
Let’s LIGHT up the night with a dazzling hunt and SHELL-ebration! This will be a night to shine and is sure to spark fun with electrifying themed crafts, interactive games, radiant face painting and dynamic dance moves. Dress in your most vivid attire and bolt over to this lit event that’s sure to be a hopping good time!
All participants should be accompanied by an adult and and any participant aged 6-11yrs should be registered for the event.
Spring EGG-stravaganza

Spring into action and hop on over to Chavis Park for an EGG-straordinary hunt and SHELL-ebration. Young EGG-explorers will be divided into two age groups (0-3yrs and 4–5yrs) in search of bright, colorful eggs tucked away in designated areas of the park. Joyful EGG-pressions are sure to bring cheer as little chicks fill their baskets with goodies and prizes.
Families will also EGG-perience spring crafts, free carousel rides, and other festive activities designed to EGG-cite and delight kids of all ages. Color us excited to host this EGG-stra special Hoppening SHELL-ebration that is sure to bring smiles and fun times.
Caregiver does not need to register. Participants age 0-5 should be registered for event; children will be divided into two age groups for the egg hunt.
Egg-splorers: A Jaycee Egg Hunt & Celebration

Egg-citing Egg Hunt (Teens)

Let’s add an additional fun spin on Egg-Hunt themed events with a Teen Glow Egg Hunt.
There will be egg-citing games and activities that include glow min-it to win it, challenges, games, pre-stuffed eggs, snacks, prizes and more. Activities and games will be engaging for the entire group and glow themed event with music.
Teens will be signed in and dropped off to participate in this event. This is a Teen event only 12yo (Middle School)- 17yo (High School) only, no exceptions.
Hopping Down the Bunny Trail

It’ll be a Basketful o’ Fun – Come join us for an evening of egg-static fun. Kids will get to fill their baskets with eggs, crafts and prizes while they stroll through the egg-cellent activity stations. Kids will also get an opportunity to get their picture taken with the bunny! This event is free for kids 12 and under – pre-registration is requested.
Mordecai Egg Hunt

Meet at Mordecai Historic Park for a fun-filled morning hunting for eggs! Egg hunts will begin at 11 a.m. for age groups 0-4, 5-9, and 10 and up. Come before and stay after for crafts, games, and more spring activities. This is a free event and registration is not required. Please call the Mordecai Visitor Center at 919-996-4364 for more information.
