Durham School of the Arts invites the public to its free event, Fall Art Festival: Día de los Muertos, on Saturday, October 26th, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Dia de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, is a traditional Mexican holiday in which participants remember and pray for their friends and family members who have passed away.
The holiday features altars to loved ones and brightly painted sugar skulls.

The Festival is a free event and will include:
- A community parade
- Food trucks
- Face painting
- Musical performances
- Festival games
- Memorials for the lives being celebrated
