Durham Refugee Day is a community-wide event that celebrates the contributions and cultures of our refugee and immigrant neighbors.
This is a free family-friendly festival with live music, community education booths, activities for kids and food vendors from around the world.
Durham Refugee Day takes place on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 3 to 6 p.m., at the Farmers Market Pavilion at Durham Central Park, 501 Foster Street, Durham, NC.

- Dub Addis — combines Ethiopian melodies with the rhythms of Reggae
- Suah African Dance — West African Dance Company based in Greensboro, NC
- Batalá Durham — Samba Reggae music from Afro-Brazilian culture
- Takiri Folclor Latino — Folkloric dance
