Multi-instrumentalist Luis Rodriguez has played in various bands in the Triangle, including The Lizzy Ross Band, The Wiley Fosters, Charles Latham and The Borrowed Band and Kamara Thomas. Most notably, he was a member of alt-country pioneers 6 String Drag. Featured in Rolling Stone, their 2018 release Top of the World received glowing reviews from Blurt and Glide Magazine.

We Are Carnaval ft. Caique Vidal

We can’t celebrate Carnaval in person with Caique and his large ensemble of dancers, drummers and musicians, this year, but “we need to keep the joy of Carnaval festivities inside ourselves, celebrating safely from home” says Vidal. Joining forces with Caique, Adriana and NC Brazilian Arts Project promises to delivery a full hour of fun and dance moves that will lit a sparkle of hope and remind you of those times when we could hug, kiss and dance together.
So, step away from that laptop and get ready to dance!
The ensemble is offering their artist fee and raising funds to donate for nonprofit organizations that offer art education to youth in Bahia and Rio de Janeiro.
