The Durham Fire Department is hosting the 5th Annual Toys and Books for Rides on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 12 to 4 p.m., at Durham Central Park, 501 Foster Street, Durham, North Carolina.

Durham Central Park is a new location for this popular event.

Bring an unwrapped toy or book, and get a free ride in a fire truck!

This is a chance to give back, while enjoying a unique experience. Kids love fire trucks!
