Celebrate Durham Bee Day at Durham Farmers Market on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Durham Farmers Market is at Durham Central Park, 501 Foster Street, Durham, NC.
At this event, there will be:
- Live beehive demonstrations
- honey tastings
- Pollinator plant/tree giveaways
- Bee crafts
- Bee costume making
- A Bee Parade you can march in
- Pollinator seeds to take home
- Free tubes of Burt’s Bees lip balm
- Visits with nearby pollinator gardens
- Talks with Master Gardeners
- Information from Durham Bee City Committee Partners on how to support pollinators at home
