Raleigh Walking Tours’ public tours are usually “pay what you can,” but on Friday, April 3, 2026, there will be a special tour that is truly FREE, because of the sponsorship of Downtown Raleigh Alliance.
The Davie to Deco First Friday Walking Tour, a 45-minute stroll through one of downtown Raleigh’s most vibrant and storied neighborhoods, takes place at 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
Pre-registration is required, and space is limited. Register here.
Discover local history, public art, and the eclectic shops and businesses that make the Moore Square District special.
The tour will start at The Davie, which is located at 444 South Blount Street. We will end the tour at Deco, which is approximately four blocks from the starting point at 207 South Salisbury Street.
This tour leaves the starting point quickly, so please be on time.
The Davie to Deco walking tours are approximately 45 minutes long, but may be slightly longer depending on the size and speed of the group.
This tour will take place entirely within the downtown Sip n’ Stroll district! But you do not need to buy a drink to participate in the tour — this is not a pub craw. While the tour will not be making any specific stops for drinks, please feel free to arrive early and purchase a drink at The Davie before the tour starts. You can’t bring any outside alcohol.
The tour is open to all ages. Only those ages 21+ may drink alcohol.
