Bring the whole family to Garner for the Downtown Bird Bash on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event takes place at Garner Recreation Center, 215 W Main Street, Garner, North Carolina, and on Main Street.
This is a free, family friendly event, but there’s a cost for some of the activities. (See below.)

- Paint a Feeder for children (ages 3-7) Register here. Cost is $5.
- Youth Birdhouse Competition (ages 8-18) for a chance to win cash and prizes. Register here. There’s a cost to enter this contest.
- Shopping 40 youth vendors of the Children’s Entrepreneur Market in the Recreation Center
- A Main Street Birdy scavenger hunt
- Games, activities and information from Wake Audubon Society, White Deer Park, and Audubon NC
- Food vendors
Presented by the Garner Area Historical Society, Children’s Entrepreneur Market, NC, the Downtown Garner Association, Wake Audubon, and participating downtown businesses.
