Down Home: Jewish Life in North Carolina is a traveling exhibit that is curated by Jewish Heritage North Carolina. The exhibit features a timeline of Jewish history in North Carolina, focusing on topics like family, community and commerce.
The exhibit will be at the North Carolina Capitol, 1 E Edenton Street, Raleigh, from April 1st to May 31st, 2022.
You can see the exhibit when you visit the Capitol. Hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be an opening reception for the exhibit on Monday, April 4th, 2022, at 7 p.m. The opening reception will feature a welcome from the Attorney General of North Carolina, Josh Stein, and a talk from the curator of the exhibit, historian Dr. Leonard Rogoff.

The reception is free to attend, and it’s free to visit the exhibit during its time at the Capitol.
