USA Ultimate is partnering with local ultimate frisbee organizations to host DISCover Ultimate Day on September 6, 2025, from 9 to 11 a.m.
This is a fun and FREE event introducing youth athletes to the game of Ultimate Frisbee. It’s designed for middle school and high school athletes (ages 11-18) interested in learning a new sport.
Participants will learn the basics of ultimate in a fun, active, and welcoming environment.
Triangle Ultimate is hosting two DISCover Ultimate events in the Triangle at the same time:
- Piney Wood Park, 400 E Woodcroft Parkway, Durham, NC
- Pleasant Park, 3400 Pleasant Planes Road, Apex, NC
Registration is recommended, but walk-ins are also welcome.
DISCover Ultimate Day features:
- Introduction to Ultimate: Learn what makes ultimate unique, from how it’s played to why people love it.
- Basic Skills & Drills: Get hands-on experience with throwing, catching, and team movement.
- Games & Activities: Have fun with beginner-friendly disc games that help build confidence and coordination.
