Spring Haven Farm, at 5306 Homer Ruffin Road, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, is opening their space for a Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) gathering on November 1 and 2, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Pay what you can. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to El Centro Hispano to support their ongoing work in the community.
This year, Spring Haven Farm will be opening their space for a Día de Muertos gathering. Spring Haven recognizes that this is a deeply meaningful cultural and spiritual tradition, and their intention is simply to provide a welcoming place for members of the Latino community, their friends, and neighbors to gather, remember, and celebrate together.

A community altar will be available for anyone who wishes to add photos, offerings, or other items in honor of loved ones who have passed. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food, share traditions, or spend quiet time in reflection.
Local food vendors will also be invited to offer traditional foods, and the farm will remain open until the evening for candlelight and remembrance.
This is not a program led by the farm. It is simply a space where community members can gather, share, and honor the traditions of Día de Muertos in their own ways. All are welcome.
