People from countries from all over the world live in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and the rest of the Triangle, making their new home a more vibrant, interesting place. Many cultural groups generously share their celebrations with the whole community, and we all benefit.
Throughout the year there are festivals where you can experience the music, dance, art, food and other traditions from different cultures. Try out a new one. It’s a good way to get to know your neighbors and to get a taste (literally) of a new culture.
Read on to see a list of the next few cultural festivals coming up the Triangle. Most are free, and all are $10 or under for admission. You might have to pay parking in some cases, and food and some activities will be extra. Some of these festivals host a cultural marketplace, which is a great way to shop for unique gifts and to support your community.
This list will always show the next three months of cultural festivals. Let us know what we’re missing! Please email jody@triangleonthecheap.com.
