Costco is offering a special deal through Groupon. Please note that this deal is only valid for new members and those who memberships (Primary and Household) expired at least 18 months ago. It’s not available for renewal of an existing Costco membership.
If you’re not sure if you currently have a membership, or when yours might have expired, you should login to Costo first and figure it out, because if you purchase the Groupon and then find out you’re not eligible, it will be a pain in the neck for you.
The membership cost is $65, and with that, you receive a one-year Costco Gold Star Membership:
- Gold Star Membership includes two membership cards—one for you and one for another household member. Enjoy shopping at all Costco warehouses and online at Costco.com.
- A $50 Digital Costco Shop Card (valid at Costco locations and Costco.com)
The Digital Costco Shop Card will be emailed to you within two weeks of sign-up.
Without the Groupon deal, the membership is still $65, but you don’t get the Costco Shop Card or the discounts.
Another option is the Executive Membership card. This one costs $130 with the Groupon deal. You get the $50 Digital Costco Shop card, $100 off a $200 purchase from Costco.com, and an annual 2% reward.
Make sure to mark your calendar for before a year is up so that you can cancel before it auto-renews, if you’d like!
