Durham Garden Center, at 4536 Hillsborough Road, Durham, is hosting a free Community Ecology Day on Saturday, March 5th, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Learn to:
- Plant pollinator-friendly gardens that help regenerate the soil
- Foster a child’s love of nature
- Care for your neighborhood trees and remove invasive species
- Volunteer to clean up and protect the Eno River watershed
- Create beautiful floral arrangements with plants you can find in the Triangle
- Reduce your reliance on fossil fuel-reliant foods
This event is co-hosted by Durham Garden Center, Buddha Bee Apiary, and other local environmental organizations and businesses.
