The Wake County Community Collaborative for Children and Families, with support from the Growing Resilience Movement, is hosting Wake County, Come Out and Play on Saturday, May 7th, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. It takes place at Dorothea Dix Park Chapel, 1030 Richardson Drive, Raleigh.
The KPJR Films documentary, ‘Playing for Keeps’ will be screened at 3 p.m. There will be outdoor recreational events for participants of all ages. Giveaway bags for the first 300 households! No registration required – this event is FREE and open to all!
The purpose of this event is to bring awareness to Mental Health Month and how incorporating PLAY into your adult/family life can boost physical and emotional health, as well as strengthen connections with others.
