First Friday at CoLab: Animalia

Every month CoLab has a new theme for their gallery shows. They are meant to inspire and not restrict, and it’s always fun to see how people interpret them. Animals! Yes, bugs, birds, fish, reptiles, and even mollusks are animals, and so are humans technically. This month CoLab celebrates all of the Animal Kingdom. Come check out the menagerie!
And on First Friday, you can join in the fun with a new twist on a collaborative painting. Pick an artist-submitted theme and paint! There’s also the amazing Five Dollar Sketch Wall- a novel way to build your art collection (even if you’re broke) and help support CoLab at the same time, thanks to generous donations from our artists!
The Carter Building will be hopping Friday! While you’re here, visit CoLab’s awesome neighbors throughout the building!
