Children’s Day is a Mexican holiday that’s celebrated every year in late April.
The City of Raleigh and the Consulate General of Mexico are presenting Children’s Day on Sunday, April 30, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Peach Road Park, 911 Ileagnes Road, Raleigh.
Please note that we had an error for a little while, saying that this has been rescheduled. It was being confused with a different Children’s Day event.

This is a free event.
Festivities include:
- Arts and crafts with Lety Alvarez
- A children’s book reading with Tulia Finucci
- A children’s string musical performance by Raleigh Music Collective
- Futsal (urban soccer) games
- Information and activities presented by community partners
Carpooling or public transportation is encouraged as parking is limited. If parking in the neighborhood, please be mindful of City of Raleigh parking ordinances.
