The Chicken Hut, at 3019 Fayetteville Street, Durham, North Carolina, has announced on social media that it’s giving away FREE meals on Friday, December 22, 2023.
The free meal giveaway will start at 11 a.m. and will go until all the free meals have been given away. One meal per person.

The announcement was made on The Chicken Hut’s social media channels, including Facebook and Instagram.
This is their second year of giving away Christmas lunches. Last year they gave away 500 lunches, and this year they plan to give away 1,000 lunches.
When they run out of meals, they’ll announce that on their social media, including Facebook and Instagram, so be sure to follow and check before heading over.

Our 2nd Annual Christmas lunch giveaway, FREE to the City, is approaching! On Friday December 22nd we will serve our community a FREE LUNCH! Last year we served over 500 free meals and this year our goal is 1000 free meals!!! Please come out and join us on Friday December 22nd to enjoy a delicious free meal on us! Our way of saying THANK YOU, and continuing our mission to give back to our community.
