African-American History: A Trip Through Time

Experience conversations surrounding historic African-American individuals, events, and places such as John Chavis, Juneteenth, and Chavis Park. Take a trip through time from the 1700s to the present day through presentations and an optional walking tour. Refreshments will be provided.

Come by on Juneteenth for a day of fellowship. Enjoy John Chavis Memorial Park’s beautiful grounds and amenities such as the splash pad and the playground. There will be a DJ and food trucks. Please bring a lawn chair.
