Charge for Change is a free community event on NC State’s campus on Saturday, August 21st, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It takes place at 930 Main Campus Drive, Raleigh.
Charge for Change – Raleigh is an event that is designed to showcase our clean energy future. EDF Action has partnered with S.A.C.E. and Dream Corps to host an event on the grounds of North Carolina State University.
The focus for this event is on electric vehicles and how they will integrate into our everyday lives as they become more accessible to a wider demographic of drivers. All of these scenarios contribute to the goals that have been set forth by the “Power Up, America!” campaign.
Attending will be elected officials, community leaders and stakeholder organizations that are helping to move forward into a clean energy future. There will be an impressive lineup of speakers to launch the event at 10 a.m., and then transition into a town hall setup where locals can share why these goals are important to them.
This event highlights the need for clean energy transportation solutions, and features:
- Electric vehicle car show
- Constituent meetings with elected officials
- Networking with leading small businesses, non profits, and community leaders on local solutions and clean energy manufacturing jobs
- Green Jobs discussion
- Electric Vehicle 101
- Letter to the Editor Training
- More!
