
Cary Community Choir’s 50th Annual Presentation of G.F. Handel’s Messiah will take place on Sunday, December 5th, 2021, at 7:30 p.m., at Westwood Baptist Church, 200 Westhigh Street, Cary.
This is a free event but you need to reserve a ticket in advance.
You will need to provide proof of Covid vaccination in advance. Information is in the link, above.
The concert features:
- Pepper Choplin, Director
- Susanna Stewart, Soprano
- Jennifer Seiger, Alto
- Timothy W. Sparks, Tenor
- Marc Callahan, Bass-Baritone
- Patti Lingafelt, Accompanist
- A 16-piece orchestra
In addition to The Messiah, the concert will feature a piece that Cary Community Choir commissioned Pepper Choplin to write.
The Cary Community Choir is open to all interested people in the Cary area. There are no auditions. The minimum age is 16, with singers under age 18 asked to have at least a year of choral experience. The group meets for three rehearsals prior to the Messiah performance.
