If you live in (or visit) the Durham area and you like freebies, you need to learn about Bull City Freebie Society! (BCFS)
BCFS organizes “freebie drops” with local businesses. If you sign up for BCFS you’ll receive an email and/or text a few days before the drop, letting you know about it. It’s free to join Bull City Freebie Society.
Then, you just show up on the date and time, show the message from BCFS, and receive your freebie.
All freebies are first-come, first-served, and are limited, so come early.
BCFS also offers a paid Elite Membership, at $15/ month, which offers skip-the-line entry, bigger giveaways, private Elite-only events and more.

The next BCFS Freebie Drop is at Ashleigh Bakes Daily, 307 W Main Street, Durham, North Carolina, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m. (while supplies last.) There’s a limited tab, and when it runs out the menu goes back to regular price, so come early.
Standard members: Get two classic cookies.
Elite members: Come as early as 3 p.m. Get any two items (brownies, premium cookies, etc.) and a drink.
