Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 4900 Kaplan Drive, Raleigh, NC, is hosting a Black Authors Book Fair on Saturday, May 6th, 2023, from 12 to 4 p.m.
This is a free event, co-presented by Teach Our Youth.
The Black Authors Book Fair will highlight local authors of African descent and entrepreneurs offering educationally related products/services. This partnership will encourage the need for culturally competent curriculums both inside and outside the classroom by bringing diversity to residential and commercial libraries.
The event also includes games, raffles, food trucks and an open mic.
A percentage of the vendor fees will be donated to Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church’s continued Matthew 25 Initiative.
