The Town of Garner is offering a First Friday Bird Walk on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., at Lake Benson Park, 921 Buffaloe Road, Garner, North Carolina.
Pre-registration is required. Meets at Park Shelter 3. Participants must be at least 16 years old.
Enjoy an easy walk at Lake Benson Park while looking and listening for birds. Learn how to identify birds in the area and discover their behaviors and preferred habitats. These walks are great for first-time or experienced birdwatchers.
