Frontier RTP has a partnership with Bee Downtown. The honey from the hives has been turned into honey beer at Bombshell Beer Company, Neuse River Brewing, Fullsteam RTP, and into mead at Honeygirl Meadery.
On Friday, May 12, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be a FREE tour with Bee Downtown. Space is limited and reservations are required.
Start at the blue picnic tables in front of 600 Park Offices Drive, Durham, NC, and chat over a quick bite to eat. Then you’ll go on a tour of the hives, led by the beekeeper.
A light lunch will be provided, but please bring your own water bottle.
Closed-toe shoes are required, and long pants and long sleeved shirts are recommended. Everyone will be provided with bee suits and gloves!
