Back Studio Stomp, 2603 S. Miami Blvd, Durham, North Carolina, hosts swing dancing every Tuesday. There is a beginner and intermediate lesson from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., and then social dancing from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m.
This weekly event takes place in the back left studio.
Both are “pay what you can,” with a suggested donation of $5 for the lesson and $10 for the social dance.
The focus of the lesson changes each week. Check Back Studio Stomp’s Facebook page for the topic of the lesson, as well as to make sure that there are no changes to the schedule. This is the Facebook event for the September events.
Dance the Lindy Hop, Balboa, Charleston, Shag and more. It’s the perfect way to meet new people and get some exercise. All skill levels are welcome! You do not need a partner.
